Using too much Cleaning Chemical

One of the most common mistakes people make is using too much cleaning chemical. Often hot water and a bit of elbow grease is more important than spraying a lot of chemical around your office. Using too much chemical can leave your floors or surfaces sticky, which then catches dirt and dust, meaning your surfaces will get dirtier faster.   Ensure when using chemical, you always follow the instructions on how much to use, but more importantly use clean cloths or mops and hot water. If the surface you are cleaning is particularly dirty, and you have had to spray more chemical to get it clean, thoroughly rinse your cloth or mop, and reclean the area to remove any excess chemical.


Using the wrong tools for the job

Ensuring you have the right tools for the job at hand is essential to ensuring a quality cleaning result. Sometimes paying a little extra, can save you a whole lot of time and money in the long run. ·      Your cell phone, key pad and mouse. These items have often been found to be dirtier than your toilet seat!! While you may be the only person touching these items, your hands touch hundreds of surfaces a day, transferring germs. Having some sanitising wipes at your desk and making a habit of cleaning these items daily is a great idea for your own hygiene!
