Choosing the right cleaning company, can sometimes be a bit daunting, so we have made a few pointers to help you on your journey to finding the right cleaners for your business.
Communication is key to a fantastic working relationship. This starts from the first phone call. Think about how quickly the cleaning company was to respond to your request for a quote, and how quickly did they get the quote to you. First impressions count, and if it takes several days to respond to your request, this is an indication of how quickly they will respond to any issues that may arise. At Quality Cleaning Service, if you have a request or an issue, we will deal with this on the same day. Not only coming to see you, talking or, working with the cleaners, but also following up to ensure the issue is solved and doesn't reoccur.
Long Term Contracts - It is standard in the cleaning industry for cleaning companies to get you to sign a one or two year contract, that can be difficult to get out off, even if the standards are not being met. At Quality Cleaning we don't tie you in to long term contracts, we only ask for 30 days notice if you wish to terminate. We prefer to rely on our quality to maintain our clients, rather than a signed piece of paper.
Detailed Cleaning Schedule - Make sure you are provided with a detailed cleaning schedule, so you know what your cleaners do, and what they don't do. It is difficult to judge how well someone is doing if you don't know what they have been asked to do.
Cleaning Times - Often when the quality of your cleaning is not great, it is because the cleaners have not been given enough time to complete the cleaning to the high standard you expect. A cheap price, often means a cheap job. Think logically about how long the cleaning should take, and if you think the company has provided a price that would allow someone the time to complete the cleaning to a high standard. If you want to know how long they have allowed for each clean, just ask them. At Quality Cleaning, we believe it is unethical, and unfair to expect our cleaners to provide the high standard we expect without paying them for the time that it takes to achieve it!
Looking After Their Staff - Ask the company how they look after their cleaners. Like all industries cleaning is about team work. We all have jobs to do and working together, and treating everyone with respect is our highest priority. Happy staff, means they provide a great job. At Quality Cleaning we offer you a Living Wage option. We know this isn't always possible, but it is important to consider. We also offer a free budgeting service for our staff as well as a low interest loan scheme. We know that times are tough at the moment, and we are there to support our staff through it.
